IPL - Important Part of Life

The last time I wrote, it was the day we lost the WC’19 semifinal to NZ. Incidentally, that was the last time everybody saw MSD on a cricket ground.

A lot has happened in the past 437 days I must say.

MSD walking out today surely would have pleased countless souls, including mine.

Although being an avid MI fan, today’s loss didn’t vex me at all. If I were to extend that, I think nobody cared much about who was going to win today’s match. The realisation that cricket is finally back was enough to instil hope in everybody’s lives.

These are tough times, people! And it’s uncanny how things like IPL bring a sense of normalcy in our lives. This is probably the most awaited IPL season of all time. I’m just happy that for the next couple of months, we all have something to look forward to.

Thanks IPL! :)
